ALL ABOUT ME JUNIOR BOWLING WEBMASTER

Some of you might not know who I am. I am the Webmaster for Junior Bowling. I live in South London except at weekends when I am a gypsy and roam around the countryside frequenting bowling centres. Not so much now as I used to

I was a member of Rayne's Park YBC from 1993 to around 2004 (not had my NAYBC Certificate yet. maybe next year... and saw it through some of the most successful times had by a YBC . I am also a Phase III BTBA Coach, licensed or is it certified? I'm not sure which sometimes. I also do a little coaching in my spare time and am honoured to have a an junior European champion in my portfolio along with the odd JTE member here and there

I also serve Queen and bowling on the Surrey Area Tenpin Bowling Association committee, and double up as a Surrey Junior County Coach, Junior Scratch Tour committee member and get very little contact with my family and bowl occasionally myself.

I'm left handed and make no apologies for that. In fact I am proud to be a minority in this great sport of ours.  Keeping that fact in mind my hi-scores don't count anywhere! however despite that I am also very proud of the fact that I have rolled a 300 game at AMF Wellingborough and a best series of 776 (no that's not the time) at Scareport.  I work for BT for my crust...

I also have a deep love (why, I don't know) of junior bowling. possibly because a lot of people have put a lot of time and effort into my own children's attempts to look good on a set of lanes with some degree of success. They are to many to name, the people who helped not my kids, but thanks all the same to each one if you are reading this. I suppose that I wanted to give a bit back as well.

The website? It was spawned from a discussion with someone when I was feeling a bit aggrieved about an issue. I thought that there was a lot of one way communication, usually from adults to juniors and very little the other way round. I wanted to help redress that balance in some way to those ickle people without them having fear of recrimination for their opinions (as long as they were not  libellous or slanderous rude or derogatory). I also wanted a place where like minded peeps could keep in touch with others from all the five corners East, West, North and South and all right , the Midlands of this great  country of ours.

So there you have it.. Me, what I have done. Very little in some eyes. Who I am and to the right a picture so you are able to see how junior bowling has affected me!
